Established in 2014, the Széchenyi University Talent Support Council (SZETT) acts as the leading body for talent management, coordinating and representing talent support activities at the university level and representing the talent support system of SZE. The Talent Support Council serves as a common platform whose members coordinate, share, and jointly execute talent management tasks. In its operations, SZETT sets professional, socio-political, economic, and resource-expanding objectives. Its aim is to identify and develop talent in any field, promote the utilisation of the outputs of talented individuals, coordinate talent support programmes, advocate for talent, and expand resources—through the widest possible social cooperation.

The Council is a local/institutional organisation: an alliance of autonomous organisations, organisational units, and self-education workshops. The Council brings together professionals committed to talent support, alongside representatives from talent support organisations, organisational units, workshops, and programmes. Its members include the Scientific and Artistic Students' Council, the 9 faculties, the 9 colleges for advanced studies, university foundations, self-education workshops, as well as other university organisations and private individuals.

Furthermore, the Council aims to raise funds to meet the financial requirements of current and future talent development programmes and scholarships. Since its inception, the Council has successfully secured numerous grants to support the talent development, exhibition at events, and creative work of specific groups and individuals.

The Council is also integrated into the network of the Hungarian Genius Integrated Talent Support Programme.
