You can apply for TDK by filling out the Application form. The application is online, the form becomes visible after log in. The necessary information are the following:

The tdk.sze.hu website is available via SZE Portal:

• those who have already registered can log in with the data they used there,
• those who do not have access can register with their NEPTUN code. If there are any problems with SZE Portal registration, the Alumni, Career and Information Center (AKIK, Új Tudástér 106) can provide assistance honlap@sze.hu.

Useful tip: it is worth checking the SZE Portal registration at the beginning of the application period and log in as a test, so that on the last day of the deadline it does not turn out that you cannot apply for the Conference due to incorrect registration/forgotten password.

A TDK thesis can be written in any topic, the departmental topic descriptions are only recommendations. You can apply for TDK by filling out the form in the Preparation and application menu / Application sub-menu. Everyone receives feedback on the application by e-mail. During the application, it is necessary to provide a short description (abstract) of the topic approx. in half a page (min. 1300, max. 2000 characters with spaces).

The formal requirements of the TDK thesis are the same as the requirements in the OTDK section call for the relevant discipline: otdt.hu/hu/szekcio-felhivasok

At the local round, please indicate the following on the front page of the thesis: name, major - specialization, year, supervisor's name and position, thesis title.

During the application, it is necessary to specify whether this will be your first or several Conference participations. If this is not your first, please indicate whether you are participating with an improved version of your previous work or a completely new work.

If several people write a thesis:

An author fills out the Application form and receives an e-mail containing a link indicating the availability of the co-author application interface. By entering this link, you can apply as a co-author to an already existing topic on the Co-author application interface.

The form does not need to be printed out, the supervisor will receive an e-mail from it, where he/she can electronically approve the application when he/she has checked and accepted the entry.

Application process:

1. Clicking on the LOGIN button in the upper left corner of the tdk.sze.hu website,
2. In the Application menu item, you can enter the entry data,
3. After registration, the system sends the user an e-mail about the success of the application (We recommend everyone to check their primary e-mail address in Neptun, so you will definitely receive a letter about the registration!),
4. There is no need to print out anything after the application; the system automatically sends a message to the supervisor, who can accept the application by e-mail.
5. Uploading the thesis: After entering the page, the title of the registered thesis becomes visible by clicking on the TDK thesis tab in the Application menu. Clicking on this will open the upload interface.
