Dear Student,

We are pleased to inform you that in the autumn semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, it will also be possible to take a 5-credit, elective subject that supports student’s research work.

  • BA/BSc: Introduction to innovation and Research Communication (I., II.) (for full-time students KGNB_VKTA018 and KGNB_VKTA019, for part-time students KGLB_VKTM018 és KGLB_VKTM019).
  • MA/MSc. Innovation and Research Communication (I., II.) (for full-time students: KGNM_VKTA020 and KGNM_VKTA021, for part-time students KGLM_VKTM020 and KGLM_VKTM021).

The purpose of the subjects is to encourage the joint research and publication performance of students and teachers. The subjects are consultative and do not have contact hours.

The requirement for completing the subject is the preparation / completion of one of the publications bellow:

  • submission and presentation of a scientific student essay in the frame of a TDK conference
  • submission and acceptance of a qualified international conference paper;
  • journal article: the publication is submitted to a qualified journal (Q) and not rejected
  • 5 grades assessment (1-2-3-4-5)

It is possible to take both subjects (I. and II.) during the studies. (E.g. in one semester the student writes a TDK thesis in the frame of subject I., in the following semester he/she writes a conference article or journal article in the frame of subject II.)

The subject can be taken during the subject enrolment period, but its way differs from the other subjects. The student should indicate the intention to take the subject to his/her instructor (subject supervisor/consultant); and the instructor can draw the attention of the students concerned to the optional subject. The administration of the subject registration is handled by the instructor with the help of the faculty TDT leaders. It is important that you take the course in the semester when one of the scientific products indicated above is expected to be completed.

Due to the nature of the subject, it is highly recommended to contact the supervisor

We wish you a successful course enrolment and completion.
