36. MTT Conference
36th MTT ConferenceThe Hungarian Talent Support Society Held Its 36th National Professional Conference at Széchenyi István University
The Győr campus of Széchenyi István University hosted the 36th National Professional Conference of the Hungarian Talent Support Society (MTT). The two-day event, entitled "The Future of Talent Management – Values, Challenges, Collaborations," provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the values and developmental directions of domestic talent management, including the activities of the higher education Scientific Students' Associations (TDK).
Alongside representatives of domestic education policy, relevant ministries, and professional organizations, key players in higher education talent management played a prominent role at the event: the National Scientific Students' Association Council (OTDT) and the Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Candidates (DOSZ) were personally represented. During the program, an independent section focused on the complex talent management system of Széchenyi István University, which ranges from guiding students towards a scientific career and providing scholarships to startup innovations and the support of successful student competition teams, such as the energy-efficiency world-record-holding SZEnergy Team.
As an outstanding and ceremonial moment of the conference, Professor Dr. Márta Konczosné Dr. Szombathelyi, President of the university's Talent Support Council, received the MTT "For Talents" gold pin award. The prestigious recognition was awarded for her decades of dedicated work in higher education talent management, mentoring students' scientific endeavors, and community building.

The main message of the meeting, which concluded with eleven section workshops—including programs examining the role of artificial intelligence and digitalization—was that talent management must be interpreted as a continuous, interconnected network, the fundamental pillar of which is the close collaboration among institutions, research, and professional communities.
